The Tales of Beedle The Bard is a collection of five stories, which was, in Harry Potter's seventh novel, received by Hermione from Professor Dumbledore. One of the stories here had a strong connection and valuable clues in the journey of Harry, Ron and Hermione, to defeat Lord Voldemort.
The author wrote five stories for the book. One, "The Warlock's Hairy Heart", is not mentioned in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; three others, "The Wizard and the Hopping Pot", "The Fountain of Fair Fortune", and "Babbitty Rabbitty and her Cackling Stump", receive cursory attention. "The Tale of the Three Brothers" is the only story also included entirely in The Deathly Hallows.
